Are tutors vetted?Fully vetted, selected and qualified tutors At MindFull Learning, we value our vetting and selection process very highly. As a result, all of our tutors have Enhanced Disclosures (DBS) and they must sit our challenging teaching test which ensures that we select the most academically capable and competent tutors. We make sure that we employ academics with the right personalities to educate, inspire and motivate our students. This guarantees that our clients receive the highest quality of service. With more than 5 years of experience in tutoring over 100’s of students, our clients can have full confidence that our tutors can help all our students reach their intended academic goals.

How do payments work?This depends on the payment plan/scheme you’re on as we have both single 1 hour “pay as you go sessions” and monthly bundles. Our monthly bundles encompass four 1 hour sessions which is cheaper than our single “pay as you go session “and so is our recommended route. Pay as you go sessions can be made via our website but the majority of our payments come from our Direct Debits system. This ultimately eases the process for you, the client. Therefore, we urge that parents/guardians subscribe to our monthly direct debits which works out cheaper in the long run. We have a zero-tolerance policy on tutors asking for/receiving cash payments from clients under any circumstances.

Are there any extra costs?There are no extra costs as the hourly rate is all-inclusive. Any additional travel costs that may be applicable would be discussed in advance.

Are there any cancellation fees?Yes. If a lesson is cancelled without at least 24-hour notice, the total cost of the lesson will still be incurred without any refunds. We have a strict cancellation policy as our tutors specifically set aside time for working hours.

What are the payments terms and conditions?All payments for sessions should happen at least a minimum of 24 hours before the session begins. This ensures the integrity of the session is maintained otherwise the session may very well be pushed back. All pay as you go sessions can be paid online through the website otherwise the monthly bundle payments are collected through direct debit. Contact us if you have any questions. Any invoice incurred will be subject to a surcharge of 20% plus VAT to cover the collection costs incurred. The customer is responsible for this surcharge, other charges and legal fees which can be legally enforced. The company also reserves the right to take legal action through HM Courts & Tribunal services. All credit card payments will be subject to a 5% surcharge. No refunds can be given for over payment so any credit accrued by a customer for over payment can only be redeemed though tuition time.

Is there a satisfaction guaruntee?MindFull Learning and the MindFull Network are committed to matching every student to the right tutor. Therefore, we have a 100% satisfaction guarantee; if you are not 100% satisfied with your first session, we’ll pay for your first lesson with another tutor free of charge.
